Immediate Aftercare – Right after the procedure, your skin will likely be red and slightly swollen, similar to the appearance of a mild sunburn. This redness typically lasts anywhere from 24 to 48 hours, though it can vary based on your skin type and the depth of the treatment.

Peeling and Flaking – About 3 to 5 days post-treatment, some people may experience mild dryness, flaking, or peeling as the skin heals and renews itself. This is completely normal and a sign that the skin is regenerating.

Sensitivity – Your skin might be more sensitive than usual for a few days, so it’s important to avoid harsh skincare products like exfoliants, retinols, or anything that might irritate the skin. Sun protection is also crucial—wear a high SPF sunscreen, as your skin will be more prone to UV damage.
