1. PURPOSE
Inner Beauty offers gift vouchers for clients wishing to purchase beauty treatments, services and products for themselves or as a gift.
These Gift Voucher Terms and Conditions set out the conditions that apply to the purchase, use, expiry, cancellation and redemption of Inner Beauty gift vouchers.
By purchasing or using an Inner Beauty gift voucher, the purchaser and/or recipient agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
2. GIFT VOUCHER VALUE
Gift vouchers are issued for a specific monetary value.
The gift voucher value must be treated as currency and may be redeemed towards eligible treatments, services and/or retail purchases at Inner Beauty, subject to these Terms and Conditions.
The voucher value will be recorded on the voucher and/or in Inner Beauty's booking or client management system.
Gift vouchers:

Have a monetary value equal to the amount purchased.

May be used over multiple visits until the available balance has been exhausted, where the voucher system permits.

May be used towards a treatment or purchase that exceeds the voucher value, with the remaining balance payable by the client.

Cannot be exchanged for cash.

Cannot be redeemed for cash or transferred into a cash equivalent.

Cannot be used to purchase another gift voucher.
3. VALIDITY AND EXPIRY
All Inner Beauty gift vouchers are valid for three (3) years from the date of purchase, unless otherwise required by Australian law.
The expiry date will be stated on the gift voucher where practicable.
Once a gift voucher has expired, the voucher is no longer redeemable unless Inner Beauty is legally required to honour it.
Clients are responsible for using their gift voucher before the expiry date.
Inner Beauty may, at its discretion, consider requests to extend an expired voucher in exceptional circumstances. Any extension is at the discretion of Inner Beauty and is not guaranteed..
4. GIFT VOUCHERS ARE TREATED AS CURRENCY
Gift vouchers represent a monetary value and should be treated in the same manner as cash.
The recipient is responsible for keeping the voucher secure.
Inner Beauty is not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged or unauthorisedly used gift vouchers where the voucher cannot reasonably be identified or verified.
Where a voucher can be identified through Inner Beauty's records, Inner Beauty may, at its discretion, be able to verify the remaining balance.
Gift vouchers must not be altered, copied, reproduced or tampered with.
5. REDEEMING A GIFT VOUCHER
Gift vouchers may be redeemed at Inner Beauty for eligible treatments, services and/or retail products.
A gift voucher must be presented or otherwise identified at the time of redemption.
The voucher value will be deducted from the cost of the treatment or purchase. If the purchase exceeds the available voucher balance, the remaining amount must be paid by another accepted payment method.
Where the value of a treatment or purchase is less than the voucher balance, the remaining balance may remain available for future use, subject to the voucher's original expiry date.
6. APPOINTMENTS BOOKED USING GIFT VOUCHERS
When making an appointment using a gift voucher, the booking may be subject to Inner Beauty's standard booking, deposit, cancellation and rescheduling policies.
A gift voucher does not guarantee a particular appointment time or therapist.
Appointments are subject to availability.
Inner Beauty may require the gift voucher number or other identifying information when an appointment is booked.
7. CANCELLATION POLICY – GIFT VOUCHERS
Gift vouchers are treated as currency and cancellation fees apply to appointments paid for or secured using a gift voucher.
The use of a gift voucher does not remove or reduce the client's responsibility to comply with Inner Beauty's cancellation policy.
Where a client cancels an appointment within the applicable cancellation period, or fails to attend their appointment, Inner Beauty may deduct the applicable cancellation fee from the gift voucher balance.
For example, where a 50% cancellation fee applies, 50% of the booked treatment value may be deducted from the gift voucher.
Where Inner Beauty's cancellation policy provides for a 100% cancellation/no-show fee, the full value of the booked treatment may be deducted from the gift voucher.
Once a cancellation fee has been applied, the amount deducted is not returned to the gift voucher.
8. RESCHEDULING
Where sufficient notice is provided, a gift-voucher appointment may generally be rescheduled subject to availability.
Repeated rescheduling may result in Inner Beauty requiring a new deposit or payment arrangement before another appointment is secured.
Where a client reschedules within the applicable cancellation period, the relevant cancellation fee may apply.
9. LATE ARRIVALS
Clients using gift vouchers are expected to arrive on time for their appointment.
If a client arrives late, Inner Beauty may need to shorten the treatment to avoid delaying other clients.
The full treatment value may still be deducted from the gift voucher where the treatment has been shortened due to the client's late arrival.
Where a client is sufficiently late that the treatment cannot be performed, the booking may be treated as a late cancellation or no-show and the applicable cancellation fee may be deducted from the gift voucher.
10. NO-SHOWS
If a client fails to attend a booked appointment without providing the required notice, the applicable no-show fee will apply.
Where the appointment was secured using a gift voucher, the applicable fee may be deducted from the voucher balance.
A gift voucher does not protect the client from cancellation or no-show fees.
11. LOST, STOLEN OR DAMAGED VOUCHERS
Gift vouchers should be kept safe.
Inner Beauty may be able to replace or verify a lost or damaged voucher where sufficient information is available to confirm the original purchase and remaining balance.
Replacement is at the discretion of Inner Beauty and may require proof of purchase or other verification
.Inner Beauty is not responsible for gift vouchers that are lost, stolen or used by an unauthorised person where the voucher cannot be verified.
12. REFUNDS AND CASH REDEMPTION
Gift vouchers are not redeemable for cash.
Unless otherwise required by Australian law, refunds will not be provided simply because a recipient does not wish to use the voucher.
Where a refund is legally required, Inner Beauty will comply with its obligations under applicable Australian consumer law.
13. TRANSFER OF GIFT VOUCHERS
Gift vouchers may generally be given or transferred to another person.
The original purchaser is responsible for ensuring that the recipient is aware of the voucher's terms, value and expiry date.
Inner Beauty may require reasonable information to verify the validity of a transferred voucher.
14. DISCOUNTS, PROMOTIONS AND SPECIAL CONDITIONS
Gift vouchers purchased as part of a special promotion may be subject to additional terms and conditions.
Where a promotional voucher has specific conditions attached to it, those conditions will apply in addition to these Terms and Conditions.
Gift vouchers cannot be combined with other discounts or promotional offers unless specifically permitted by Inner Beauty.
15. TREATMENT PRICES
Gift vouchers are redeemed against the current price of the treatment, service or product at the time of redemption.
If the price of a treatment has increased since the voucher was purchased, the voucher retains its original monetary value.
The recipient will be required to pay any difference between the voucher's remaining value and the current price of the treatment or purchase.
16. GIFT VOUCHER PURCHASES
Gift vouchers may be purchased directly from Inner Beauty or through approved Inner Beauty booking or payment channels.
The purchaser is responsible for checking that the voucher value, recipient details and other information supplied at the time of purchase are correct.
Inner Beauty is not responsible for incorrect recipient details supplied by the purchaser.
17. FRAUDULENT OR MISUSED VOUCHERS
Inner Beauty reserves the right to refuse to accept a gift voucher where there are reasonable grounds to believe that the voucher:

Has been altered or tampered with

Has been duplicated or reproduced

Has been fraudulently obtained
-
Has been used without authorisation
-
Has expired
-
Cannot reasonably be verified.
Inner Beauty may investigate suspected fraudulent or unauthorised use.
18. CANCELLATION FEES AND VOUCHER BALANCES
Any cancellation fee deducted from a gift voucher will reduce the voucher's available monetary balance.
For example:

Gift voucher value: $200
-
Treatment booked: $120
-
Cancellation fee: 50% = $60
-
Remaining voucher balance: $140
The cancellation fee is considered payment for the appointment time that was reserved and is therefore deducted from the voucher balance in the same manner as a monetary payment.
19. INNER BEAUTY CANCELLATIONS
If Inner Beauty needs to cancel an appointment, the client will not be charged a cancellation fee.
Where appropriate, the appointment may be rescheduled for another suitable time.
The client's gift voucher value will remain available and its original expiry date will continue to apply unless otherwise agreed or required by law.
20. EXCEPTIONS AND SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES
Inner Beauty understands that genuine emergencies and unexpected circumstances can occur.
Inner Beauty may, at its discretion, waive or reduce a cancellation fee in exceptional circumstances.
Any decision to waive or reduce a fee is made on a case-by-case basis and does not create an entitlement to a future waiver.
21. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Inner Beauty may update these Gift Voucher Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes to our business, services or applicable laws.
The terms applicable to a gift voucher will be subject to any mandatory rights or protections provided under Australian law.
22. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By purchasing, accepting or redeeming an Inner Beauty gift voucher, the purchaser and/or recipient acknowledges that they have read and agreed to these Gift Voucher Terms and Conditions.
These Terms and Conditions should be read together with Inner Beauty's booking and cancellation policies.
GIFT VOUCHER QUICK TERMS
Inner Beauty Gift Vouchers:

Valid for 3 years from date of purchase.

The voucher value is treated as currency.

Redeemable towards eligible Inner Beauty treatments, services and retail purchases.

Cannot be exchanged for cash.

Current treatment prices apply at the time of redemption.

Any difference between the voucher value and treatment price must be paid by the client.

Cancellation fees apply to appointments paid for or secured using a gift voucher.

Late cancellations and no-shows may result in the applicable fee being deducted from the voucher balance.

Lost or stolen vouchers should be reported to Inner Beauty as soon as possible.

Gift vouchers remain subject to Inner Beauty's booking and cancellation policies.
